Program Overview

What We Do

Build Local Cycling Community

The EHS mountain bike team has three main functions within the Emmett community:

  1. Build and expand the Emmett community’s interest in cycling.
  2. Work with the local municipalities and trail development agencies to develop a community trail system.
  3. Maintain and improve existing local trials.

Develop Coaches

The NICA Coach License Program provides NICA Leaders’ Summit training (in person coach training), curriculum development, membership support, and ongoing training to coaches and leagues.

Develop Student Athletes

Emmett Coaching staff works with students in groups of eight or less to develop riding skills, endurance skills, build community with similarly capable athletes and build character.

Additionally, NICA our National governing body & IICL the Idaho League provide educational resources, summer events, and organize the fall competition series for our student athletes.
